I didn't know you had SAM 75, I've never seen it.. what gear do you have for it?

you have to have something on your chars that make you stand out, are you just a marshmellow pld, or a lolsam? has to be something you could assist us with in information.

For my PLD, I have the Valor Gauntlets and Valor Coronet. For my SAM, I have the Saotome Kotes. I have obtained level 75 SAM just one day ago, March 5th, and already placed merits into my Great Katana, Store TP, Critical Hit-rate up. I have put in a lot of work to get my samurai up to where it is now in a short amount of time. I'm hoping that by joining your LS, that I will also obtain more "notable equipment". Thank your for your time in reviewing my application.

Here is my current equipment setup for samurai:

Hands:Hachiman Kote

If you can provide some feedback as to what I should be wearing/using I would be grateful.

Sam can be a really expensive job, probably one of the highest if done 'right'.
I'll give you some suggestions, with both high and lower end stuff because I realize not everyone can afford the best.

Weapon - Hagun hands down obviously, look into doing the ENM if money is an issue.
Head - Turban and Wyvern are the usual choices, adding an Ohat to your collection is a worthwhile journey too.
Neck - PCC is one of the best for TP'ing in, for those who can't afford it Chiv chain is def acceptable.
Earrings - These can be tricky, you'd def wanna go after a Brutal and a Bushi is nice to have too. Other choices being, triumph which are very costly, fowling is common among sams and merman's.
Body - Hauby for sure, hauby +1 is def the sex for SAM Domaru's can burn in hell.
Hands - Okote is decent, Alky's for WS.
rings - should have a WS set also.
back - amemet +1
waist - swift belt and warwolf for WS
legs - enkidu subligar, haidate which are both harder to obtain or royal knights breeches are better than the hachiman
feet - Fuma sune ate, rutter sabatons

Also if you get into doing Nyzul, that's a better place to get decent gear faster, you can join any farm floor and most are free lot and you could get Askar.

if you have the money or time, even tho your sams a day old invest what you possibly can into your sam. the better your sam is the more fun your ogoing to have in the long run. now these are some figures you could run down if your capable of getting, which most are easy to get, either camped or do assaults. chiv chain 190k <assault> triump earring 650 <do DM instead> fowling earring 70k merman earring 212k fuma sun-ate <ksnm> okote 650k <mee deggi> ruby rings 25k.

now if you just went lazy and bought everything from AH its total of 2,057,000gil

but easily can be done for well under 1m if you just put the footwork involved. now this is just making you a decent sam, not a "wow" sam. id say replicate as much as you can with what shiiga wrote. hope this helps
